How do I arrange an appointment?

You will need a valid GP referral.

You will need a GP referral to see one of the independent specialists practicing from our rooms. A referral from your GP is valid for 12 months from the day of your first appointment.

Please ensure you let us know if you have a preferred doctor you would like to see. Otherwise, we will offer you the first available appointment.

In the case of children and young people, we may require a referral for both parents/carers and child.

Assessment and treatment of children usually involves primary caregivers/parents. A very important part of your child’s treatment is supporting the people who are an essential part of their lives - this means you. Hence, there may be times when parents will see their child's psychiatrist without their child present, as this is in the best interests of the family. To facilitate this, a parent referral from your general practitioner may be needed. Should this be the case, our reception team will contact you to let you know.

Send an email to reception@etonplace.com.au and attach your GP referral.

We will process your referral and forward it to the relevant practitioners for review and acceptance. We will then contact you to proceed further. 

Due to the large number of referrals that we receive, the current processing time is between 2-4 weeks.

Whilst we make every effort to get back to you in a timely manner, this may not always be possible. If you have not had any contact from us, please do not hesitate to contact reception to check on the progress of your referral.

Once your referral is accepted, we will contact you to arrange your initial consultation.

You will need to complete our registration and consent forms, which also contain information about our fees and charges. Please contact us if you need further clarification around this. 

To confirm your first appointment, we require a $200 deposit. This is deducted from the cost of your appointment. However, should you be unable to reschedule or cancel as per our cancellation policy, your deposit will not be refunded
