What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy empowers individuals of all ages to overcome barriers in their daily lives, enhancing their ability to participate in activities they find meaningful.

Focus areas: Mental health, physical rehabilitation, developmental support, sensory integration, and social skills development.

 

The Role of OT at ETON PLACE:

  • Supporting emotional regulation and stress management techniques.

  • Developing coping strategies for anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges.

  • Enhancing life skills for greater independence and satisfaction.

OT Services for Ages 7 and Up:

  • Customized interventions for school-aged children, adolescents, and adults.

  • Group and individual sessions focusing on skill development, social interaction, and community participation.

  • Support for families and caregivers in creating supportive environments.

Javier Bara will be delivering OT services from Eton Place rooms. Javier works with people struggling with the impact of mental health conditions, such as Neurodevelopmental, Anxiety, and Mood Disorders.
